Kei slowly walked in the house, quietly closing the door behind her before sliding down and sitting against it, fresh tears going down her cheeks. "That was so scary.." She said quietly, hugging her knees against her and clenching her eyes as a hand was placed against her neck.

"Kei-chan? Is that you?" Came Irie's voice from the kitchen since he was debating on what to make. He poked his head out with a smile but it soon dropped into a frown when he saw her crying. "Kei! What's wrong? What happened?" He asked her as he kneeled infront of her and pulled her gently into his arms examining the wrap that was a bit red on her neck.

Kei clung to him, her eyes clenched shut. "I...I..." Her smaller form was shaking, and she shook her head. "I...had to help the Vongola.." She said, clutching to him as if she was afraid he wasn't going to be there.

Irie bit his lip as he picked her up and walked over to the couch before he sat down with her on his lap and him embracing her. "Shh...it's ok Kei I'm here and I won't let go until you're fine," Irie said to her as he stroked her hair gently and looked down at her."You did great if you helped Vongola."

"There...was a scary guy. He had a hit out for everyone...and the only way he would back off..is if.." Kei stopped, wincing a bit as she took off the bandage. "I didn't...I couldn't..." She shook her head before burying it in his chest. "It hurts."

Irie looked at her neck before he lightly pecked it and held her close rubbing her back. "I'm sorry Kei. I have some disinfective for it and some painkillers if you want to take them love," He said to her as he looked down at her while she buried her head into his chest. 'Who the hell did this to her?' He thought as he continued to rub her back.

"He's still out there! What...what if he comes after you? Or Spanner?" Kei said, clutching to his shirt as she looked up at him, fresh tears falling down her cheeks. "It...N-No. We have to stop him!" She added, unintentionally ignoring his question.

Irie didn't like seeing her like this so he picked her up again and started to lead her back to the bed. "Don't worry Kei. I'll be fine," Irie said to her as he pecked her cheek and looked down at her worriedly."You need rest and painkillers." He laid her down on the bed and looked through his drawers for painkilers.

Kei sat up, clutching to a pillow. "Y-You don't know that. This guy...he's really really scary! E-Even Aiden wouldn't be a match for him..." She said quietly, fresh tears falling as she shook her head and hid her face in the fabric of the pillow.

Irie looked at her and he sat down and pulled her on hs lap again as he embraced her and stroked her hair after taking her hat off. "Shh...it'll be alright Kei. I promise you," Irie said to her as he lifted her chin up and wiped her tears away a bit.

Clenching her eyes, Kei lunged forward and attached herself to his middle, hugging him tightly. "I-I don't want anything to happen to you. I..I want to protect you.." She said quietly, biting her lower lip as she leaned her head against his stomach.

Irie looked down at her and nodded gently as he handed her a pain killer and he sighed lightly before he hugged her tightly. "Ok Kei..." He said to her as he tried his best to comfort her.

Kei reached over and grabbed a bottle water and took the painkiller before leaning against him. Sighing lightly, she looked up at him. "That guy was freakishly tall too. Like...three feet taller than me." She said, shuddering a bit as she thought back on that demonic man.

"Well he won't get near you again," Irie said as he looked down at her and he pecked her lips lightly. "Try to get some sleep love."

Kei nodded, closing her eyes as she rested her head against his chest. "I hope I never see him again..." She said quietly, dozing off quickly, hoping to keep the day's events in the past.
