Giotto nearly jumped (still having his hyper intuition sealed and all that jazz), glancing over to her before frowning a bit and gripping her hand. "Riku...I'm sorry." He mumbled quietly, unable to keep his eyes on her from feeling guilty about making her worry.

"Like I was gonna, I'm not that stupid." Samara replied, pouting a bit before looking to the door. "How was he doing when you left..?"

"As long as your alive, it's alright Giotto," Riku said to him as he gripped her hand before lifting his chin. "I'm happy that you're here for us." 'Us' having hidden meaning behind it.

"He was doing alright...he's about ready to kill Spade so he's vanished for a while," G said as he looked down at her and sighed lightly. "But over all he'll live."

Giotto smiled lightly, leaning a bit to press a kiss against her forehead. "I'm not leaving anytime soon. Though, I can't say that same for Spade.." He said, frowning at the end.

"That's good...and...I think Riku-San has something she better tell him..." Samara said quietly, shaking her head and sighing. "Come on, lets go..."

Riku nodded quietly as she gripped his hand slightly tighter and looked down at a bit with her bangs covering her eyes. "I-I didn't know I would have done if you...I wouldn't know how to handle it...How could we live without you?" She said quietly as her nails lightly started to bite at his skin.

Giotto winced a bit, taking his hand out of hers and placing it on top of her hand. "You don't have to worry about it now...I promise you that I'm not going anywhere. This...was a minor set back thanks to Spade. Take my word, I'm going to stay like a flea on a German Shepard."

Riku looked at him with teary eyes before looking down again pondering on how she was going to tell him before grabbing his hand and dragged it downwards towards her stomach so his palm resting against it as she looked at him. "You better for the both of us," She said to him through a sob.

Giotto felt his eyes widen a bit, looking up at Riku. "...Wait...you mean...?"

"Yes...I'm pregnant," Riku said to him quietly as she wiped her tears away quickly and looked away from him. "I was planning on telling you earlier before...that had happened."

Giotto smiled, reaching up to turn her head back towards him. He spoke quietly as he said, "Do you know how happy I am? Do you have any idea...?"

"Very? I think," Riku said quietly as she looked at his blue eyes with her red ones before gripping his hand that was still on her stomach. "I...found out two days ago but I didn't know how to tell you just yet until today."

Giotto moved his hand up to rest on her cheek before pulling her down and pressing a kiss against her lips. "I'm glad that you did tell me. I really am.." He said quietly against her lips. "We're just going to have to be extra careful from now on..."

Riku nodded him with a smile on her lips before she kissed him back and then rested her head against his shoulder while gripping his hand tightly. "I'm glad I did tell you...now I just gotta tell Hibari that he's going to be an Uncle/cousin in nine months," Riku said as she looked at his blue eyes.

Giotto let out a small laugh, "He won't react...just like Alaude. Neither of them really care about anything, so I'm guessing you'll just get a grunt and he'll tell you to not crowd around him, yes?" He said, shaking his head as he thought of the tonfa wielding ~~psycho~~ male.

"Probably, but he still has the right to know that he's going to have a little niece or nephew calling him 'uncle' in nine months," Riku said as she looked at Giotto and sighed lightly. "So...when will you be able to get out this part of the house?" The worried look from before came back into her eyes.

"Well...they said that they don't want me moving for a week...but I told them I'm leaving here in three days. I should be alright by then. Though...I still have that stack of papers to finish.." Giotto mused, a slight frown on his lips.

"I could always finish it for you," Riku offered as she looked at him with a small smile. "Or would you rather have me stay here with you?" She rubbed her stomach lightly, now it was just becoming a habit.

"How about....you bring it here and stay with me while I do it?" Giotto suggested, raising a slim eyebrow with a small smirk on his lips.

"Sure. I'll be right back," Riku said before pecking his lips and left the room to get his paperwork. A small smile on her lips as she closed the door behind her.

Riku laughed lightly as she and Knuckles walked down the hallway back to Giotto's room, he had insisted that he carried the papers for her. She hadn't told him about the baby since she figured Giotto would want to tell her family himself. "I'm serious Knuckles I could have gotten," She said to him but he shook his head at her. "I insist," The priest said to her as she opened the door to Giotto's room and smiled at the blonde.

Sadly, the blonde had fallen asleep in the time that she had left the room. Not getting enough sleep through the week finally caught up to him after being forced in to the bed.

Riku and Knuckles both smiled before the priest placed the papers on one of the tables. "Call if you need anything RIku-chan," He said to her, the red head nodded at him and he left closing the door. She walked over to Giotto's sleeping form with a soft smile on her face before she laid down next to him and grabbed his hand. "Love you..." She mumbled quietly before letting herself fall asleep.

~Week Later~

Riku groaned quietly in her sleep as she curled up in bed with her head buried in Giotto's side and she snuggled more into him. Giotto's wound had been healing smoothly, not many problem with it to everyone's relief. His family knew about the upcoming baby, aside from Alaude and Spade, they were happy for the two.

Her stomach then lurched and Riku's red eyes shot open before she rushed into the bathroom, oh how she loathed the morning sickness. It would prevent her from actually sleeping in, in the mornings.

Giotto opened his eyes a bit, looking to the bathroom with narrowed eyes. Honestly he felt bad that she was feeling sick because of him in a sense. "Riku? You doing alright...?" He asked, slowly sitting up, being careful of the sore wound. It wasn't as painful as a week ago, but it still stung now and again.
