"Pffft..." Gianna tried not to break down laughing as she saw Mira's hits take out students, windows, and anything standing in the general vicinity. "Alrighty! Here goes... something." She gripped her bat tightly as the machine spat a ball at her, and swung her bat as hard as she could. The telltale KLINK! was replaced with a rebounding KONG! and her bat went flying past the net along with the ball.

"FORE! HEADS UP!"

Mira grinned whilt turning to Gianni. "I THINK WE'RE DOING GOOD!" She cheered. "Everyone I hit is still alive with no broken bones . . . except that guy over there, but he was probably just born with five broken ribs and a fractured ankle . . . GET OFF THE FIELD, KID, IF YOU'RE INJURED!"

"I'M IN THE BLEACHERS!" He shouted back. "AND I CAN'T MO-- MY LEG!!"

". . . He'll live. He survived the ribs, after all."

Mia looked at the boy sitting next to her since he had gotten hit pretty hard on the legs. She had to hold in a laugh as she looked at him before she looked back at the people playing. 'Interesting bunch,' She thought and randomly starting to sing in her mind 'peanut butter jelly time' and laughing at herself.

"Are you laughing at me!?" The boy said looking at her with teary eyes.

"Uh...no?" Mia said before she stood up and went off the bleachers.

'Food...glorious food!" She thought happily as she walked off to get something to eat.

Yamamoto smiled cheerfully through all the chaos, dodging stray baseballs, "This is going quite well!" He told a hysterical boy who was screaming as he limped past the dark-haired baseball nut.

He stroked his chin thoughtfully, watching the three girls. "They just might have to join the team. I bet they're really good at pitching, as well."

Paige had finished batting and grabbed a glove, going onto one of he fields. "Oi! Guys! How 'bout a nice game of ball!?"

Mia comes back with a strawberry milkshake and looks at the group with a smile. She looked over before she scooted to the left dodging a stray ball and sighed a bit in relief before looking at the group and walking over to them as she saw another girl walk over.

"Hey can I try? I'm Mia," She said to them a bit nervously as she looked at them holding the milkshake in both her hands. "Please can I?"

Gianna looked up at the girl and grinned. "'Course you can! It's open practice, right? I'll go get Yamamoto and we can start a scrimmage. Oh, by the way..." she held out a hand, "I'm Gianna. Nice to meet you!"

Mia smiled at Gianni before she took her hand and shook it lightly in hers before she looked at the others with a small smile.

"Uh...my full name is Mia Cavallone nice to meet you all," She said to them with a bright sunny smile before she took another sip from her milkshake.

'Ok...making new friends is going well! Yayz!' Mia thought happily as she hummed a small tune from a movie she once saw.

Paige came over when she saw another girl. "I vote girls against guys. Show them what we're made of." She shook the other girl's hand. "Paige DelMarco. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet ya too Paige," Mia said happily before she nodded in agreement. "Sure! That sounds fun! But...I'm not batting first, sorry."

She scratched the back of her head and quickly went to throw away her empty cup and came back standing next to Paige with an sunny smile. 'I'm ready, I'm ready, why am I doing that?' She thought before shaking her head quietly and looked over at the other girls.

Mia nodded at her before she thought for a moment.

"If we're out in the field then I wanna be one of the outer people to catch the ball," She said rubbing her chin and playing with a strand of her hair. "I have a good arm thanks to playing tennis!"

Oh yes, She would play tennis and beg Dino to play with her though Romario did better then him sometimes since Dino would magically trip over a stray Enzo on the court getting a tan. She loved that turtle sometimes.

"I'm Mira!" Mira announced while joining in the conversation before turning to Gianni. "Can I be pitcher?! My aims improved! I only two guys today." She cheerfully announced.

"I MIGHT NEED SURGERY!" The guy from the bleachers screamed before falling over and down the steps. He just HAD to sit at the top.

Mira smiled still. "I made a new friend, too~"

Mia smiled at Mira brightly before she looked at Gianni and then looked at Yamamoto before looking back at the girls. 'This should be fun~!' She htought smiling to herself.

"So...Who's on Yamamoto's Team?" Mia asked as she pointed at the dark haired boy curiously.

"That would be any boys who are up to play. Even if her chooses one of us to be on his team I'm not letting any of you chikas go because we have a small team." Paige grinned. She wasn't too fond of keeping this happy/nice facade going but she'd do so until they had their allies for certain.

"Ah~....Alright!" Mia said before she looked over at the boy that had hurt himself with falling earlier before she pulled out her navy blue envy. "Be right back."

She walked away from them for a moment before she came back smiling at them and looked over at the boy.

"SOMEONE IS COMING TO GET YOU KID!" She shouted and then looked at everyone else as she put her cell phone away. "All~ Good."

Yamamoto grinned in an oblivious way, "Why don't you all be on my team? And the boys who are trying out for the team can be on... their own team?" Shouts of disapproval and boos could be heard at Yama's suggestion.

"Oh my goodness, I am so, so sorry..." Gianna was consoling a poor boy who had been hit in the trouser snake area by one of her flyaway bats. "I––" she paused and looked up, abandoning the injured in her excitement. "I like that idea, Yama-kun!"

He grinned, "Of course you can, Mira. That's a good idea, Mia-chan... Gianna-chan, could you be pitcher? And Paige-chan...." he looked around, noticing she'd disappeared. "We can be on the bases. Some people will need to take the outfield."
