Fran Help Me...

There was a soft knock at Fran's bedroom door as Paige stood on the otherside with a blank look on her face. Normally she would say something but this time she remained silent, her eyes, which normally held life, were dull.

Fran looked at the door for a moment before he sighed and stood up. "Who is it?" He asked but when he gotno answer he decided to open the door but to his surprise he saw Paige standing there. He went to say something when he noticed something wrong with her immediately and he pulled her inside quickly shutting the door and locking it again. "What's wrong?" He asked her, his green eyes boring into her's with concern.

"I..." She didn't finish becuase she couldn't think straight.

Paige backed up until she felt her back hit the cool wood of the door and then she slid to the floor, staring blankly at the hardwood floor.

Fran looked down at her before he kneeled down infront of her and lifted her chin up so she could face him. "It has to do with Bel doesn't it?" Fran asked in a serious tone as he looked down at her before he narrowed his eyes waiting for a response from her.

The brunette nodded at her hatted friend, unable to find her voice at that point. Currently, it seemed as though she were an emotionless shell. Paige wasn't crying, if she did speak her voice had no tone and her eyes remained dull.

Fran looked at her before he lifted her up a bit and placed her on his bed so she was lying down and looked down at her before he moved one strand of hair from her eyes. He looked down at the eyes that once held life, now they looked dead almost like those of a doll. "Paige...come on talk here," He said to her growing nervous.

"I hate him....that's...that's what I told him..." Paige slowly sat up and leaned against the headboard of Fran's bed.

Fran frowned as he looked at her before he, for once, pulled her into a lightl hug and stroked her hair gently. "I'm sorry Paige," fran said for once being struck speechless at her words.

Though under normal circumstances Paige would've hugged him back and poked fun at him for showing emotion, she didn't. Her shoulders shook lightly as if she were crying but there were no tears that followed.

Fran looked at her for a moment before he puhed her away for a moment. "Paige...you need to pull yourself together, being like this won't get you anywhere," He said to her sternly as he brushed some of his green hair out of his matching eyes.

Paige nodded, "I know...I just...I don't know what to do...." She slowly explained what had happened between the two of them and choked on the part where she'd told Bel she hated him.

Fran looked at his friend before he ruffled her hair lightly. "You have to be strong Paige..." Fran said to her quietly before he poked her nose a bit to get her yo crack a smile in anyway possible.

Paige let a small smile (Uchiha Style) form on her face as a speck of life came back to her eyes, adding some shine to the dullness.

"Well I got something out of your depressed state," Fran said to her before he made her lay back down while he thought of ways of getting Bel and Paige patched up again. He knew just how much Bel adored Paige since well, the guy would literally find Fran and tell him about Paige.

Fran pulled her into another hug and stroked her hair gently and sighed lightly. "Come on Paige....please pull yourself together," He whispered to her gently, more worry was in her eyes as he held her close.

Paige sighed and lightly hugged Fran back, finding the will to move. "I'll try," She answered softly, her eyes becoming half lidded.

"Good because I really don't like being this mushy and stuff," Fran said as he pulled away fom the hug a bit and brushed some of her bangs out of her eyes before he smiled at her faintly.

Paige smiled at her friend and leaned her forehead on his, closing her eyes and trying to relax herself. "It's just hard..."

"I know but you have to try and not give up completely," Fran said to her as he looked into her eyes and he sighed lightly. "Alright?"

Paige stared back at Fran's blue/green eyes. In the moment that came next, the brunette had no idea what came over, whether it was impulse or because her emotions were in a jumble and totally fucked at that point (most likely both), she closed her eyes and softly pressed her lips to her friend's.

Bel walked into the room, a flower in his hand. "Hey Fran I wanted to run something by yo--"

He froze at the door at what he saw, dropping the flower on the floor.
