Fran's eyes shot open when Paige kissed him again before he unintentionally kissed her back for a moment before he gently pushed her away and looked at her. "You know...we need to quit doing this or else you and Bel won't get another chance," Fran whispered to her quietly now almost fully awake.

"FRAN!" Lussuria's voice came as they green haired man came into sight as he ran towards them before stopped infront of them and kneeled infront of Fran. "You poor thing" Lussuria quickly looked him over before using first aid with his flames.

"It's the only way I could think of keeping you awake." Paige answered simply and then remained silent as Lussuria fixed Fran up.

After Lussuria had done the best he could do he looked a Paige before he looked at Paige. "We have to get him back to Varia...I can't treat his ribs and arm here," Lussuria said to her as she goot out the stretcher and set it down before he gently lifted Fran up on to it. "Help me Paige after you get his hat and frog plushie over there so I can wash it," he said to her.

Fran groaned, feeling better but his chest and arm still hurt like no tomorrow. He looked up at Lussuria before he looked at Paige and smiled lightly before he promptly passed out.

Paige went and picked up Fran's hat and his frog plushie, smiling and wondering why he'd brought it with him instead of leaving it in his room. She then followed Lussuria back to the Varia, wondering if Bel was seriously going to kill the guy who hit Fran.

After an hour of treating Fran he was placed back in his room with a casted arm and wrapped torso and was sleeping peacefully, though his head was also wrapped a bit but not to much since Lusurria had cured that mostly.

Paige wanted vodka to calm her nerves at that point but ignored it and just sat in the corner of Fran's room on the floor, leaning against the wall dozed of in an extremely light sleep.

Bel walked into the base battered and bruised with a knife lodged in his shoulder, but walked as if it weren't there.

He first went into the lobby to see Luss. "Hey . . . Fran survive?" He asked, while his eyes seemed to be seeing something other than what was in front of them.

"Yes he's alive, with a fractured rib, small concussion and a broken arm," Lussuria said to him quietly before he used his peacock box wepon to heal Bel's cuts and bruises. "You can go see him, but he's sleeping."

"Is Paige in there?" He asked, more loudly than he intended.

"I think so I'm not sure...I haven't been up there for ten minutes," Lussuria said as he looked at him before he looked down at the book in his hand. "You can go check Bel."

Bel nodded, walking to the room and hesitating when he was about to knock.

He clenched his fist as Paige kissing Fran came to mind. She was trying to keep him alive . . . He told himself. You promised to save her no matter what, damnit! Th--this counts as 'what!' He told himself, slowly opening the door.

Paige stirred at the soft sound of the door, opening her eyes and looking seriously tired as shit.

Bel looked at her, unsure of what to say.

His little heart was busy trying to form words out of the confusion and powerful emotion.

"You look like shit . . ." Bel said finally, but soon realizing the idiocy of those words. "Um . . . you want some coffee? We should go downstairs, let Fran rest for a bit." He looked over to his kohai, and despite his anger held onto the confidence he'd make it while another part of him was just as confused as his heart.

"Did you beat the guy?" Fran asked suddenly as he opened his eyes slightly and looked over at Bel slowly.

Paige nodded, "I know I look like shit....you're right...should let him sleep." The brunette slowly got up and went over to the door where Bel still stood.

Turning to Fran, Paige smiled, "Feeling alright?"

Bel snorted. "Let's just say you won't have to worry about him for a while. No one lays a hand on my kohai but me."

Fran rolled his eyes at him before he shook his head carefully. "That makes me feel so special Sempai," Fran said as he looked at the blonde prince before he looked down at his arm that was on a sling.

"Ushishishi~" Bel laughed but it died down. "For what its worth, if I had been paying attention I would have not thought twice about pushing you outta the way." He walked over to Fran, placing a hand on the teal-haired boy's head. "As your sempai its my job to protect your dumb ass, but repeat that to anyone and die..."

Fran smiled at him lightly before he nodded slightly wincing a bit. "My head still hurts," he said as he used his good arm to take it Bel's hand off his head and he looked up at him. "Well, you can go with Paige now, I'm going to try to catch some Zs."

Bel turned and walked out with Paige while closing the door. He turned to her quickly.

"We need to talk." He said, shifting on his feet. He wasn't comfortable with having to be serious for so long but he couldn't find that grin of his anywhere.

A small and silent nod came from the shorter girl as she watched the floor, unable to bring herself to look at Belphegor. Paige wanted to disappear right there because she didn't know if she'd be able to say anything right during the conversation they were about to have.
