Small arms wrapped around Belphegor and a face burried itself in his back, "Never...." was the whispered comment that came from the girl.

"I do nothing but piss you off." He told her. "I mean, yeah, you get mad but you've never done anything to hurt me like I have you. I was late when that psycho-bastard from the past kidnapped you and I threw one of your worst fears in your face for crying out loud! You've been nothing but good to me and I don't think I'll ever be able to make up my fuck-ups to you."

A bitter laugh escaped the brunette's lips, "I haven't been nice to you at all. You've done nothing but try to help me and I've done nothing but throw that kindness back at you. I'm an idiot having not accepted the help from you."

She didn't say anything else for a moment but then spoke some of the feelings that she'd hidden away, "I was afraid. When you stabbed yourself with my knife...it reminded me of how I lost them and it scared me to think that I might lose someone else and that it would be my fault for being such a whiney bitch who can't get over something that happened so many years ago. I didn't mean what I said. I said it out of fear of losing someone that I care so much about."

Paige slowly took her arms from around Bel and leaned against the wall; staring at the floor, her hair hid her face and the fact that she was crying.

Bel came up behind her and wrapped his arms protectively around her to his chest. "Please don't cry," He asked while feeling an unfamiliar chocke in his throat he had honestly never fet before this moment. "I can't stand seeing you cry." He whispered while leaning his head into her shoulder.

The brunette lifted her head and turned it to look at the face of the blond male resting his head on her shoulder, "Can we start over? Please?"

"Let's not get carried away," She responded, a smile tinged with slight annoyance on her face as she burried her face into the crook of Belphegor's neck after having turned around in his arms.

Paige too held Bel close to her, eyes becoming half lidded at the comfortable feeling of being with him despite the situation, "I really am sorry..."

Bel scoffed. "Don't apologize, you've done absolutely nothing wrong. It's me who screwed everything up." He told her. "I'm such a horrible person for it..." He whispered more to himself than her.

"I'm insanely horrible," Bel informed Paige, smiling too. "I'm a sadist, its in my nature. But with you . . . I take on a whole new outlook." He murmered. "From the moment I saw you in that alley."

"I do still wonder why but right now I don't care. I'll bug you about it later," As if to put an end to all of the angst and the both of them blaming themselves, the brunette placed her lips firmly on Belphegor's, closing her eyes and standing on her tippy-toes to gain more leverage.
