Basil looked at Daiki, frowning a bit before taking a napkin and wiping at his hand. "Thank you, Alexa-Dono...it looks wonderful." He said, smiling a bit as he took a sip of the tea.

"What's wrong with your finger Basil?" Alexa asked him curiously as Daiki 'woke up' and jumped into Alexa's lap before rubbing his head against her stomach. "You're just lovable today aren't you?" She shook her head at the cat before looking at Basil. At the same time Daiki sorta glared at him.

Basil sighed, "Your little kitty decided to bite me. Though, it does not hurt very much." He said, smiling a bit and closing his eyes. There was no way that he was going to give the cat of all.../things/ what it wanted.

"Daiki! I told you before no biting," Alexa scolded the small white cat who hissed at Basil before curling up on her lap. Alexa rolled her eyes at the cat before gently grabbing Basil's hand to look at the bite. "I'm so sorry...I'll get you a band aid." She pushed Daiki off her lap and stood up heading for the bathroom.

"I-It's alright! It's not that bad, I do not need a band-aid..." Basil said, sighing a bit and shaking his head. "He just surprised me is all. Though, I do not see why any animal would just come right out and attack someone..."

Daiki hissed at Basil angrily before he swiped at him menacingly and followed Alexa who was coming back from getting a band aid and some alcohol for him. "I guess...he's defensive? I don't know he was like that...he was like that when my step dad tried to form a small bond with me...that didn't really work out," She said to him as she dabbed alcohol on the cotton ball before gently taking his hand and placed it over the hurt finger. "Guess he's a jealous cat?"

Basil winced a bit, a frown still on his lips. "Maybe you should take him to obedience classes or something. People...might not want to visit you if they are afraid of being attacked.." He said, glancing at her with a small smile. "It might work out for you in the long run..."

"It's only a couple people every like...what two years?" Alexa said before glancing down at Daiki who looked up at her at the same time and smiled lightly as the cat jumped into her arms and nuzzled her chest. "He's just a cat that gets easily jealous of some people...I mean he got along with all my friends in New York...except for one guy."

"And...I have to ask, that guy was close to you, was he not?" Basil asked, tilting his head a bit and taking a sip from the cup of tea.

"Yeah he really was close to me," Alexa said as she looked at Basil. "But Daiki didn't like him much that whenever he did a simple gesture like let's say touch my arm he'd earn a new scratch somewhere."

"Then that is why. Your cat does not like the fact that you might leave him for someone else. Much like a jealous child who clings to their mother." Basil replied, scratching the back of his head. "Sounds weird...but it might be true."

"Ah~So he thinks I might leave him for you, reason for the bite and all," Alexa said as she pointed to his bandaged finger and she sighed lightly.

"T-Though I do not see why..." Basil said, almost trying to cover for himself. "He really is a silly cat..."

"Well you were my first friend here so I guess he sees you as a threat because of that," Alexa said to him as she looked down, a barely visible blush on her cheeks before she served him some tea while it was still hot and smiled at him.

"Well...whatever the reason, he should stop being jealous. There's no one that has known you longer here in Namimori, so he's got that covered." Basil said with a small grin on his lips before he thanked her for the tea. Picking up the cup, he blew on it a bit before taking a sip. "It's very good."

Daiki growled quietly as he walked past Basil and headed off into one of the other rooms to take a nap and Alexa giggled lightly before nodding at Basil. "Thanks, glad you like it...so where are you and your master heading off to?" She asked him curiously.

"Uhm...we are going back to my homeland for a while." Basil started, taking another sip of tea. "So we should be returning to Italy and then probably going to be coming back here..."

Alexa's peppy mood saddened a bit as she listened to Basil. "So..when will you back Basil?" She asked him quietly as she messed with her half empty tea cup before taking a sip.

"I...am not sure of that myself. Master knows all about that...and I normally just follow him around." Basil said with a smile as he looked up at her. "There...isn't any need to be sad, Alexa-Dono. I'll be back..."

"Yeah...but you won't know when...You're my first friend down here Basil and now you have to leave," Alexa said to him quietly as she looked down, feeling a light blush creep on her cheeks.

"How about this.." Basil tilted his head a bit, still smiling a bit, "When I do come back, I'll make sure that you're the first person I visit, does that sound alright..?"

"You better promise!" Alexa said to him as she held her yellow ribbon out to him. "Keep this until you come back to visit me after whatever it is you're doing."

Basil smiled a bit, taking the ribbon and nodding. "I promise. So, just wait until I come back, alright..?"

"Alright then Basil," Alexa said to him quietly before she finished off her tea and looked out the open window. "So....how much longer to you have till you have to leave Basil?"

Basil paused for a moment, looking down at his watch and tilting his head a bit. "I still have a good half hour before I have to leave to get to where I need to go..." He said, shrugging a bit and finishing off his tea.
